The purpose of this organization is to create an environment where students are able to interact with each other and participate in a project to better the student community. We feel that education is a right owed to every student and not a privilege that students should be barred from due to financial difficulties.

The book bank continues to provide books to students who look through the lists and request them at ksbookbank@gmail.com. If you would like to donate a book (especially from Honors classes, but all course books are accepted) that you would like to add to our collection, please leave them in the drop box in the Honors College library. We would greatly appreciate any additions to our book bank!
We are proud to announce that at the end of our collection, the Book Bank has over forty different textbooks to offer! Our book lists are currently being updated so please check back often.
If you would still like to donate textbooks, the drop box will be located in the Honors College Library throughout the summer. Feel free to e-mail us at ksbookbank@gmail.com if you would like to request a textbook or if you have any questions.

Friday, May 15th, 2-4 p.m.
Monday, May 18th, 1-3 p.m.
Tuesday, May 19th, 2-4 p.m.
All books can be dropped off with the students at the Honors college library. They will then be cataloged and their listings will be updated online.
**Please Note** If you cannot make it to a donation time, a drop box will be located by the Honors College window. Feel free to leave your books there.
1. When you locate a book title for one of your classes, send an email to ksbookbank@gmail.com with the tag type (located at the bottom of the posting where you find the book) in subject line. In the body of the e-mail please indicate which title you would like to request.
2. A member of the book bank staff will contact you with possible pick up times, where you and the staff member will meet or arrange a drop off time in the Honors College.
3. Your name and the book you choose will be recorded. The book is yours on loan for the entire semester. At the end of the semester, there will be posted collection times for borrowed book bank books.
4. If you do not return a book you loan, a record will be kept and no further books will be loaned to you.
5. If you discover that you have the wrong book or wish to return it early, email the book bank with the 'tag' title in the header and we will arrange to pick it up.
6. We accept book donations of books used in classes at Kent State at any time. Just leave them in the drop box and email the book bank so that we will know to add them to the lists. Donated books become the property of the book bank and are not eligible for return to previous owners.
